Overview

Colette is designed to keep your data private. Your photos and projects are created, edited, and stored entirely on your device — we do not run our own content servers, and your creative work never leaves your device through Colette. If you purchase a subscription, the purchase is processed by Apple and our subscription partner RevenueCat, as described below.

Information We Collect

Colette has no user accounts, no sign-in, and no advertising or analytics trackers. The only data processed off-device relates to subscriptions: an anonymous app-generated identifier and your purchase history, used solely to unlock and restore your subscription. We have no access to your content or how you use the app.

Photos & Media

When you add a photo to a project, it is selected through the system photo picker and used only inside Colette on your device. Your photos are not uploaded anywhere.

On-Device Processing

Background removal and image editing are performed locally on your device using Apple frameworks. The images being processed never leave your device.

Data Storage

Your projects are stored in Colette's local app storage on your device. They remain under your control and are removed when you delete the project or uninstall the app.

Photo Library Access

Colette requests permission to save your exported carousel into your photo library. This access is used only to write the result you choose to export — Colette does not read your photo library for any other purpose.

Subscriptions & Payments

Payments are handled by Apple through your App Store account — Colette never sees your payment details. To manage subscriptions, Colette uses RevenueCat, which receives an anonymous app-generated identifier and purchase information from Apple. This data cannot identify you personally and includes none of your photos or projects. See RevenueCat's privacy policy at www.revenuecat.com/privacy for details.

Third-Party Services

Beyond the subscription processing described above, Colette does not include any third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking services. Your content is never shared with third parties.

Children's Privacy

Colette does not collect personal information from anyone, including children. The app is suitable for general audiences.

Changes to This Policy

If this policy changes, the updated version will be made available within the app and at this published Privacy Policy link. The date above reflects the latest revision.
